The exposition combines works made in various techniques from 2014 to 2018, covering various aspects of a modern person’s life, mainly a metropolitan.
In his works, the artist tries to comprehend the world of a developed city dweller, which has rapidly changed over the past five years, a world that, according to the author’s thoughts, is inextricably linked with such topics as success, growth, urbanization, informatization, jump, fall, smart beauty, intellectual chic, mining , hyping, Americans, rose gold, Andrei Malakhov, etc.
Along with images of a modern man, the focus of most works in a paradoxical way are the inhabitants of the forest, personifying the various states in which the inhabitant of the metropolis resides.
The artist gives the following comment about the project: “In everyday life, be it leisure and entertainment, fashion and style, culture and art, work, people often imitate the behavior of animals, borrowing the most powerful, deliberate, noticeable behavioral features from the most congenial beast.
In the streets of the city, people can be seen placing images of animals on their bodies, vehicles, clothing, etc, in order to get deeper into roles of beasts, to associate themselves with it.
It is often necessary to study the laws of life and the habitat of animals to understand people’s behavior better. Based on the received observations, one can try to answer the question: «Which animal lives best in the forest?»
